Found it tough today, I think that cumulatively I upped it a bit too much this week, also I usually have an evening snack on the night before I run, got to the base of the last steep hill and really didn’t want to go any further, anyway, walked up the hill and managed to run back down to home, lessons learnt, don’t forget to eat and those experts that talk about cumulative effects are right! Overall 7k more than last week so still pleased with progress. On a positive note hip is fine!!

Great effort. Fuel is all. Not sure my pot of tea and muffin immediately prior to my 10k is what experts would advise but it worked fine for me. A 7k cumulative increase on last week is massive. Take care and happy running 🤗

The important thing is that your hip is ok, despite upping your running this week. That's super news.I'm sure you will rein it in if you need to, that's what I jave learnt to do. Longer runs can be quite tiring - I did a few very long runs, including a 10 mile run, and found I had to increase my intake of good food , otherwise I felt battered.
Happy running. 🤗
Great progress, often when you start running further you need to adapt the fuel intake- I learnt that lesson too. Great that your hip is ok too, great motivation for your next long run.
Happy running 🎉😊👏
