My first festive art effort

I’ve just spent way too much (work) time figuring out how to do the tech here. But, hey, it’s time well invested, and I’m now all set up to plague the forum with infinite examples of my art.

OK - I admit, it was meant to be a snow-person. In fact I even imagined a chi-running snow-person, with a nice lean from the ankle. I didn’t calculate on the fact that I was still recording the rest of my run. (You live and learn.) The result is more 🦌... a sitting 🦌. So still in the ‘festive’ theme. I’ve probably cheated by cropping the antlers in post-production. But, please remember, I’m still learning.

Very good effort. I can see a reindeer head - the antlers at the top and the nose to the right? Is that it? But more importantly, did you enjoy it? 👍😂🎅🤶🎄⛄🦌🦌🦌✅

Good spot! That nose adds a certain depth to the image. The nose formed by the circular path, I assume? 😂 Completely unintentional.

And, yes, art-making adds another layer to a CR! Another version of the final squiggle to reach 30 mins. Even (partner) M got into this after some initial doubts.

Great work, and you've learnt some tech at the same time, what's not to like. Happy running 🤗

Thanks! I can see I’ll be spending hours absorbed in this.

Yep GailXrunning I definitely can see a reindeer, but which one is it 👀

Great artwork there GailX - I haven’t got up the nerve to do mine yet so I’ll be behind you on the learning curve!

Haha! That’s very generous!!

You’ll soon get the hang of it. This was a little shape. Just imagine what could be done scaled up to a full run. I won’t be seeing maps in the same light again.

That is a valiant effort Gail-You’ve got so much patience to even contemplate thinking it all out- well done !!

Well, it’s really just a blob on a blob (until you get into the fine details of stick arms, etc.) Still, its harder than one thinks ‘on the ground’ and then I realise GPS-map interface has a mind of its own. Great fun though!

Well done for being one of the first to go for the GPS art. I will have to get my thinking hat on. Definitely a deer. 🦌
