Week 6 - Run 2

I managed to get out for my second run of the week on Friday morning and boy was it cold π₯Άπ₯Άπ₯Ά
A cool, calm and collected 5K recovery run which clocked in as my 2nd fastest PB (according to Strava) so I was pleased considering how tired I felt! π΄
Iβve had to really adjust my personal training schedule to get to 20K/HM due to starting a new job which is all night shifts. A massive change to my sleeping pattern is taking some getting used to and itβs all trial and error right now to find what suits me.
Iβm finishing at 7am after an 8 hour shift and just havenβt had the energy to get home and then go for a run. Similarly, a run before a shift has been a bad idea by the middle of a night shift! π€
So, for now the long runs have been sacrificed but I have managed to get out for the two shorter runs of the week πͺ Iβm saving the long runs for when I have two/three consecutive days off work in a row in the hope that the shorter runs will keep my progress ticking over and a HM within reach by the end of the year.
Decisions, decisions! π€ π€·ββοΈ
