Morning all, just got in after a quick run and have to say I'm wetter than an otters pocket!
It lashed down begining to end, there were constant puddles some as deep as my ankles!
Decided to press on regardless but limited my distance due to conditions and lack of music (forgot to charge the new pods π€¦πΌββοΈ)
As this was my first run since I did my 10k I figured it would be easy enough... Nope! Was struggling with breathing pretty much straight away, felt sluggish and couldn't wait to finish.
Glad I did it though, be better next time πͺπ»
Off for a hot bath and a large coffee!
Have a good one folks ππ»

Well done ππ» You got it done like a pro, in the lashing rain and no music!! You really are a runner now π€£π€£ Just goes to show, we canβt get complacent with these runs.. after smashing out a 10k, I think Iβd have expected my next run to be a breeze too! So many factors can affect a run, from the prep beforehand to the conditions during. It is a fine tuning process!! But you did well to get out there in rough conditions ππ»ππ» Enjoy the hot bath and coffee, well deserved.
I love that expression βwetter than an otterβs pocketβ - just perfect! 𦦠π§ And massive congratulations on jumping from c25k and over B210k in what seemed to be a single hop. π¦
Just been looking at your journey since your graduation, you've been flying, congratulations on that 10k, blimey, took me 53 mins, to run 6k!!! ππ€£
Thank you! I think I've been weirdly lucky with my pace, pretty quick without really feeling like it π€£ nothing wrong with your 6k time, the important thing is that your out there doing it! ππ»
