I am thinking about giving in to what everyone else seems to enjoy with their running. Music? Training?
Can anyone recommend good earbuds? I think that I need to find ones that are wireless, produce good sound, will stay in small ears and buds where I can use in one ear and so continue to hear the birds and approaching tractors!
My nearest and dearest has offered to get them for me for Christmas
I have a Samsung phone and a Garmin forerunner 45 if that is necessary information.

I just got Aeropex by Aftershokz - recommended by someone on this forum. Absolutely thrilled - very comfortable - they are “over ear” which means nothing is in your ear. I can hear all other sounds like cars/bikes approaching from behind. The added bonus for me is they allow Bluetooth connection to two devices at the same time so I can get my phone stuff and running stuff and work stuff all at the same time.Really great quality and well worth you investigating to see if they are right for you.
It’s another vote for Aftershokz Aeropex from me🙂 Very lightweight, easy to use and you can hear what’s going on around you. They’re not cheap but they’re good quality and ideal for what I need. Hope that helps😊
YES!!! that happened to one of mine if their first outing.!! Never found the damned thing so that was that. I’d smiled at a fellow runner as she came towards me and out it popped. Must have moved the muscle on that side of my head and out it went. So annoying.
I know what you mean, I have Samsung Galaxy buds, but always wear a hat or a headband! I had tried Aftershokz, but they seemed tight somehow, and I've got quite a small head/face. Do they come in different sizes I wonder...
I have Betron BR74. They fit around the ear and have a connecting wire so you don't lose them. Really comfortable, stay in the ear and good quality sound.
Sorry I can't advise what to get butI know the issue of small ear holes 🤣 I've always had issues with earbuds so got some with S, M and L options and the small are still too big 🙁Good luck 🤞
I just make do, the ones I bought were linked with a wire so if one falls out at least I don't lose it. But to be honest I don't use them very often.I have seen ones for sale with xtra small silicones included. I think the aftershox that's lots of people have mentioned sound good, but as I wear glasses I'd really want to try some on before spending that amount and obviously I can't do that 🤔Good luck.
I've got skullcandy sesh evo true wireless earbuds. They are great with no faff and you can change volume and track from the buds themselves. Been running since January, love them!
I bought some Aftershokz TrekZ Titanium in 2018 and didn't use them much until this year when I started listening to music when running. I found them comfortable and would recommend them BUT they have now developed an annoying buzzing sound on the right hand side and I can't use them anymore. They are no longer under guarantee like my Garmin Vivoactive HR ! I think its "built-in obsolescence"
