Another (not)parkrun

It was (not)parkrun morning and just a tad on the cool side; it maybe time to dig out the winter vest! But a glorious morning with a flat calm sea and no tide running. I know this because I was having to step it out to keep up with one of the super-swimmers powering along ! I didn’t quite match last week’s PB but did a respectable, for me, 46.06 which I’m more than happy with. There was a time not so long ago when I felt I was just getting slower. I’ll never be speedy but it’s nice to feel I’m improving even if slowly!! An excellent coffee sitting on a bench with my bubble aka Dexy5 and UpTheStanley to end our run. And the picture? One of the huge container ships that come in to our harbour, if you zoom in you’ll see them all lined up on the deck. Happy running folks!

It is the first day of winter in the UK hence you feeling a little on the cold side, they say it might snow later in the week somewhereGood run for you today although it wasn't a PB, the main thing is that you enjoyed your run today with Dexy5 and UpTheStanley.

That is a large container ship in that photograph.

They say that the snow will only be on the hills of Scotland and the North of England, not on low ground in the South of England.

Yes, it was lovely, I drove the works bus out to pick up some chairs and a christmas tree, one benefit is being higher i could see more of the sea
