Nice walk for you today, sorry about Willows knee being sore, that photo reflects what the weather is as well in Central Scotland where I live, this morning I ran my 24th not parkrun.

Glad you got your run in Al, we are running tomorrow and although today was a walk I did run to catch Willow up every time I stopped to take photos

Lovely photo, the weather's looking good in your part of the world. Still foggy here in Malvern, but not as cold😁. Just got back from a nice walk with my dog....nice to get out every day if possible 😁. Sorry Willow's suffering...hope it eases. Happy weekend to you 2 too. 🦌🐢🐌🏃‍♀️🙋

Good that you got out to walk too, are you running tomorrow? we are The weather is amazing today, not exactly warm but could feel warmth from the sun on our shoulders

Buddhagal profile image
Buddhagal in reply toSueAppleRun

WoW...lucky you😁😁😁😁, warmth from the sun. I just imagine the sun when I take my Vit D capsule.... not sure if it actually does help, and I know there's mixed feelings in the scientific & medical professions, it makes me feel good that I'm doing something positive for myself. I'm just pleased to get out...any day. We're lucky aren't we, to have our mobility...I'm very grateful for this. Yes, I'm out tomorrow...got my buff out ready...thanks to your reminder👍👍👍.

SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply toBuddhagal

I’m new to buffs but wore a scarf right through last winter I read that they are going to deliver free vit D pills to all residential homes so someone believes they help, I’ve been taking them all year, and being able to run in the fresh air has to be good for us

All I say is roll on the vaccine, we get a bit tired of testing every week and that’s going to increase

Enjoy your run tomorrow, I will think of you as we plod around the streets and maybe glimpse the sea 😀

Oh yep, you're right about the Bit D pills...just read that. Yes bring on the vaccine👍👍. Cheers my dear...enjoy that sea n hopefully more sun. 😁😁👍. 🦌🐢🐌🏃‍♀️🙋

It was bright blue this morning and i found myself wishing i was one of the brave things who swim every day if the year locally, i have swum to mid october some years but then it’s a bit beyond me

Buddhagal profile image
Buddhagal in reply toSueAppleRun

You've swam until mid October🥶🥶🥶...gosh I am seriously so impressed 👏👏👏👍. I am such a wimp when it comes to the cold...in or out of the water😂🤣. I should have been born in a warmer clime🌞🌞🌞.

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply toBuddhagal

I love the warmth and hate being cold, but a swim in october is refreshing if you can wrap up warm straight after and come home to a hot bath or shower, i have missed pool swimming this year, they did open fir a while but it wasn’t much fun according to friends who went

Buddhagal profile image
Buddhagal in reply toSueAppleRun

Do you usually swim in an indoor pool or out in the sea. I can cope😂🤣 with indoor swimming pool, yes, because you can get dressed in a nice warm environment, it's cosy. And I can cope😂🤣 swimming in the sea abroad when it's hot. Yes...what a wimp!!! It is a wonderful form of exercise and relaxation though...I almost feel like I'm meditating when I swim...

I used to swim a lot inside pool because it was the one part of my gym membership i used, a friend once said how good swimming is because you have to move arms and legs to keep moving forward and don’t have much left to think, he was right, this year of course no indoor pools so i’ve swam in the sea through summer and september but i’m a bit of a wimp but other years swam in the sea in october, we are fairly near shoreham beach and there are a few people who live there who go in the sea every day of the year, I’m not that brave, but do go in the first sunny day in April if i can, one year a friend and i i took my two grandchildren to the beach in april, paddled and then said let’s swim, stripped to matching undies and my friend said hers didn’t match so she went in in shorts my granddaughter did same as me, said to grandson who would have been 7 at the time “its fine just pop your shorts off and swim in your pants” he whispered back “i haven’t got any pants on ” so he swam in his shorts , after back to mine, clothes in wash then dry everyone in hot baths and then hot choc , it was a great day to remember 😀

Well, as far as I'm concerned you ARE brave...swimming in the UK ANY time of the year!!! Love your story about you all stripping off to go in the sea😁. A real "freedom" moment..what a great day and yes it's the after swim regime that puts the icing on the cake. Lovely story, thanks for sharing. 👍🦌🐢🐌🏃‍♀️🙋

That does look like a beautiful day! Rest that knee Willow and hopefully you'll be back at it soon. Take it easy until then though.

He will probably run tomorrow, it’s a very old injury that niggles at times, when we first started c25k he was in a lot of pain so we went and got him really decent trainers after a gait analysis and it’s mostly not too much of a problem now

Looks a beautiful day for a walk. Grey, damp and gloomy all day in Yorkshire, had the lights on most of the day to brighten the place up.

We are lucky to live on the south coast

Oh how lovely, it’s been a murk and mist day here on the North Norfolk coast. 🤗

SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to

I’d almost rather be on the coast in Norfolk though, my Grandparents lived near the beach at Hemsby and it’s my favourite place
