Hello, I completed C25k in September and have been running 2 or 3 times a week since mainly outdoors completing a running time of 35 mins sometimes a 5k but often not. I recently purchased a treadmill so I can keep up the running during winter months. I’m thinking about the next challenge and feel anxious about taking the next step to prolong my running. What training program have people used to extend running ? Thank you 😀🏃🏼♀️

Ju ju’s 10k plan, which is a linked post here, is excellent to get you to 10k or 60mins in small increments. Don’t give up on winter running, I stayed in the north of Scotland last year and ran right through winter, combinations of thin layers, hats, gloves help you work out what your body needs. I’m currently still in shorts and T-shirt with a very thin jacket which usually comes off after the 1st k. On particularly cold days I add thermal gloves - lovely look🤣. Happy running 🤗
Thank you 😀, I will look for the link. I definitely need to invest in gloves for outdoor running 🥶 fingers. Well done on running in Scotland
This should hopefully link healthunlocked.com/bridgeto... don’t waste money on expensive running gloves, I did that for you last year - too cold. On cold days I use the cheapish double layer thinsulate woolly gloves you get in supermarkets
