Incorporating HIIT sessions

Hi

I finished c25k about 4 weeks ago and have been consolidating by running 5K every other day (4 x 1 week and then 3x the next). I want to get some sprinting work in as I am more naturally attuned (muscular/ heavier) to fast sprints. I want to keep doing 4 x 5K a week (well maybe I will start Jojo bridge to 10) as it really was a log for me - i hate long runs.....

Anyway I will persist!!

If anyone has any good HIIT sessions i.e hill/flat and timings and freq per week to incorporate alongside my 5K's that would be a great start.

cheers

Tony

Hi, I'm afraid I'm not that organised to actually have a plan, but I have used ones on the Nike running club app. Worth a look. 👍

There are some HiiT playlists on Podrunner which are free. You download the podcast and off you go! Hope that helps

More clues please Tony .... what sort of time are you doing your 5ks in? I suspect you may be a bit quicker than the average C25K graduate, which will affect any advice we can give.
