I’m three weeks into a broken ankle ( ran onto a t ball playing tennis ! Ouch ) luckily it’s a minor fracture so I can weight bear ... just wanted any tips for getting back to running after injury !

Oh no! Much sympathy to you.
I think your starting point would be to ask advice of your orthopaedic dr when the ‘pot’ comes off. If you are referred to a physio at that point, ask them too. 😄

Definitely take the advice of the medical professionals who are looking after your leg.
My guess is that they'll say for you to walk on it for a few weeks before you try running, and then when you do start running do very short, slow intervals.
