Well, it’s been a hell of a week hasn’t it?! 😌🇺🇸
Started off the week with a 4K interval run. Total moving time 19:56 with an Ave. Pace of 4:59/km. 💪
Wednesday hump day run was my weekly 5K. A sub 30 mins just with 29:42 - Ave. Pace of 5:56/km. 💪
Just completed my 3rd and final run of the week. A 14.85K target 🎯 1h 40m 23s 💪
Now, this week I’ve totally over done it! On my non-running days I’ve upped my work outs at home (8fit App & 30 Days Ab App). Thursday’s 8Fit was an exercise heavy and then I stupidly also did the 30 Days Ab workout too (as usual - but should have missed it due tot the former being all abs too).
Needless to say - I haven’t been able to walk properly for the past two days! My hip flexors were super worked and super tight - not painful but a dull ache from being worked to within an inch of their lives! 🤭
I obviously couldn’t risk pushing through for my last long run of the week so I opted for a few days resting and stretching and made a mental note never ever to do an ab heavy workout with an additional ab workout! 🙄
Anywho, happy with adding 10% on to my 13.5K last week 💪 even if I did have to dig deep for the last 5K in the wind and rain 🌧
10 Miles is within my grasp! I can’t feel it!
