I thought I'd go for an early evening run and then could relax all evening with a curry. I did my 10k a few weeks ago and been doing 5-6k since then.
Conditions were great. Quite cool with a nice breeze so ran through Hastings town which considering lockdown was quite busy! Ran to the sea promenade. So strange that on some runs you feel great, in the words of Jo Wiley " like a gazelle" ! Well I was a gazelle! I had this inner strength and carried on to 12k! 1hour 20 mins was so chuffed especially as I did the 10k in 1hr 7 mins which was faster than last 10k. The only let down was my gps did not work but I'm ignoring that fact!!
Yes the curry was lovely. Happy running everyone xx

Brilliant run! .....and in response to your title , it came from your own hard work!
I really can't imagine running 12k by accident but now I have read your post I realise that if I just keep going with building my distances and running regularly anything is possible.Thank you!
