Same with me as well Hareshaw - Granny BUT I was looking at the Website for next year's run, it's on Monday 31st May, it will be run in London with social distancing observed, that means if you don't live near London there may not be a virtual run, perhaps with the success of this year's run the organisers might make part of it the way it was this year, if so I like you HG will be taking part.
Iโm now able to build up slowly to 10k and have a date in mind for that next year. Would also like to do a virtual 10k race after that, so if itโs virtual Iโll definitely be doing it. Donโt think I would want to go to London anytime soon. Hope to see you on the starting line if my plans all work out.
I always wear my Vitality Parkrun T Shirt on my Saturday morning (not) parkrun, this morning it was my 21st (not) parkrun and Damienair's 34th virtual parkrun.
PS. Yesterday I took a walk around Drumpellier Country Park, it was on another part of the park where I think that "Nite Lite 10K " would have been held if it had not been cancelled, compared to the normal parkrun course, the route of the 10K is very hilly.
I got back from a very foggy dog walk to find mine๐
Like you it's the first event medal and t shirt and I agree the medal is very impressive. The shirt will definitely keep my bum warm ๐คฃshould probably have got a smaller size but who cares ๐
Oh wow. Really nice T-Shirt and medal. A nice way to remember this time, a tough time but you did a 10K Virtual race and have the T-Shirt to prove it. Very well done. You can show it off when real parkrun returns. Well done.
Yes a bit big for my liking but it makes up fir all the medals we couldnโt have this year!
They look beautiful!! The top and medal are both so well deserved. You run consistently and have built up distance so well. Congratulations on your first (of hopefully many) mementos from your running journey ๐ ๐
