Hi all

I have not ran since last Thursday which was a stride repeat 45 min garmin run. The run itself was fine however the wonderful British weather did a doozy on me and for 10 mins i couldn’t see through the wind ,rain, steamed up glasses and headlights 😩

I gingerly ran🤔 blind ,glasses used to keep my hair off my face ,being mega careful where my feet landed

Since then i have had a painful hip on load bearing after sitting and tender quad in the same leg.

Its improving and I am hoping rest from running is the answer.

Its driving me mad I never thought I would be like this regarding running 🤣

Heres hoping a couple of more days does the trick and i can complete my 5k poppy run on Sunday

Happy Tuesday everyone. Stay well x

Sounds like an injury. I always advocate caution. Take it easy to avoid making an injury worse.
