Almost at 10k

[Kipperrun]

I only joined the group yesterday, having completed C25K back in June and been slowly building up my distances. I run three times a week: a 30 minute; a roughly 5K and a longer one each Tuesday. So today is a 5K, which I will record on the (not) Parkrun site. And then Tuesday I will break 10K. Can’t believe I’m almost there. I’m 67 and wondering why I’ve never done this before. It has got me through this pandemic. That and the encouragement from my wife and younger daughter and reading posts on various sites. I’ll let you know how I get on. Wish me luck.

Wow! Good luck for your 10k! You've had amazing progress. I graduated in June too, and working my way through the magic plan time version. 55min run due tomorrow. I'm 66. Isn't it amazing we can do this! Go you!😄

Good luck, alot of its in the mind, you'll definitely do it! I completed my first 10k 2 weeks ago, graduated couch to 5k early August, it's such an achievement!
