So as of tonight I've reached just over 500 miles on LEJOG4 and I'm at Gretna Green. Todays run and dog walks were in 50-60 mph winds but not cold in the slightest.

Happy Halloween πŸŽƒ all

Great effort, glad you got back to Scotland before restrictions tighten in England πŸ€” amazing how these miles add up when counting walks and runs. Happy running πŸ€—

Just made it Grannyhugs. On the news tonight England going back into lockdown for 4 weeks.😊😊

Just hope all our measures in Scotland have been having a large enough impact. Your area’s been in tightened restrictions for ages, hope you are coping.

Its the not visiting my mum and dad thats a bit rubbish. Other than that getting out to run i think is really helpingπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

I really can’t see how these restrictions are helping the older generation, hubby has seen his parents only a handful of times since March as they are in a care home. They and many in the home have had COVID. They were allowed 1 visit outside once a week until they moved to level 3 - shocking way to end life. I’m grateful for the freedom of every walk/run/cycle I can do.

Well done. Pop in and see my son on the way through Moffat. I don't know when I'll get to see him again. πŸ˜”

My sister is in Moffat - I grew up nearby! Looking forward to getting that far - but that relies on me updating my mileage (not done since 11th). Funny to think your son and my sister probably know each other!! 😯

We come from down in the south west but my son works in forestry management. He actually moved to the other side of the motorway in woodland just outside Beattock. He loves the outdoor life, especially mountain biking. Lovely part of the world. πŸ‘

It’s is beautiful! I’m down south now too but try to visit regularly. Not managed it much this year though!

Well done you! I’m a fair bit behind you on LEJOG. I’ve been on IC with a bit of a hip thing but getting there very slowly. See you at the finish line...eventually πŸ₯΄πŸ€£

Fantastic achievement Buddy34 especially in those bracing winds. Keep getting out there for mind body and spirit in these very testing times.

Well done Buddy34, I’m also doing LEJOG4 but I’ve only got about 285 miles. I’m trying to run all the way so I know it’ll take me a bit longer. We’re all doing it our own way for our own reasons so I don’t compare myself to everyone elseπŸ™‚πŸ‘
