Todays run was a route that I know with a bit that I didn't. The part I'd never been on went on for a few miles and didn't have any pavements so took my earphones out to be safe and at one point I thought I was going to be lost but it turned out okay. It really felt like being in the countryside. With the fields and animals and hay bales. Then I could hear lots of very loud barking and when I got closer it was actually a doggy daycare centre. Got to the end of the long road and then I realised I new where I was again.
There's a slight chill in the air and the sun was shining it just felt so good and I'm really grateful I took up running as todays run was lovely.
Happy running allππ

Ohhhhh a mystery run-adventure Buddy34 π π§π sounds like a wonderful outing, and a new route for future use π
Sounds a perfect run Buddy, and so does your weather!! Sooo different to the endless grey skies, rain and drizzle that has been refusing to shift all week from the south. I shall make do and just imagine your weather and scenery and hope the weather improves for me soon. Itβs doing nothing for my mood! π
Sounds like a great run with better weather than I've got and so glad you didn't get lost. I'm not at all confident about running where there aren't pavements and it's so annoying as there are some lovely places I want to run with pavements but to get there there's sections without. I never imagined my running journey would turn into checking maps and Google streetview for routes
Thank you Buddy34, I ran that run as I did run 3 of week 6 of C25K along near the River Forth at Kincardine on Forth in Fife.
Wow! What a run, it had a little bit of everything π ππππ
You are doing some really consistent runs and they are bringing you so much joy. That's something perhaps we can't envisage when we begin. Brilliant running again π
Thank you GTFC, I enjoyed my 50th parkrun today, the first official one being being on the 13th July 2019. Since then I have ran 16 other official Parkruns ending on the 14th March this year.
Since the 21st March I have ran 33 virtual 5K parkruns, organised by our friend Damien, the first (not) parkrun was ran on Saturday 20th June.
I feel the same Buddy34, I now crave getting out there in the fresh cool morning air and just simply running. Like you Iβm so glad I took it up, itβs definitely life changing ππββοΈ
Great run Buddy 34. Nice little adventure too. Hope the weathers not too bad up there. Iβm plucking up courage to go out again with splint on my wrist! Bit anxious about falling again but might get out on mondayπ€π€π€happy running πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
