Trying to do Ju Ju’s plan....... (not)Parkrun weekly....... joined a running club. It’s so hectic fitting everything in!!

On about week 4-5 on the plan but trying to squeeze other runs in as well.

I’ll need a new diary 📔

Yes, for the first few weeks of the plan I managed a fairly good rhythm with my long run on Fridays, 5k on Sunday for not-Parkrun, and then short run Tuesday or Wednesday in the dark evenings.

But then I started with the running club which runs on Tuesdays and does 7-8k (will be more if I move up to the next pace group) so that's not quite going to work so well. Oh, and then next Sunday they're doing a "how long can you run in 50 mins" team competition which is going to mess things up even further. But worth it for the running company and encouragement :)

The magic plan and joining a running club might not fit well together Alan. As a new runner it is recommended you continue with rest days between runs for a year. I suggest you do your (not) parkrun, your running club night and one other which should not increase your total weekly distance by more that 10%.

Have fun, stay safe and keep off the injury couch. 🏃‍♂️👏🏻👏🏻
