So after finishing my 11th 5K following the Couch25K programme I feel like I'm in need of a new challenge to see me through the darker mornings and evenings!
I've got quite a few major things going on in my personal life (all positive mind, but just a bit stressful!) and have found runing the perfect antidote to stress. It's also helped me with my weight loss goal so look forward to keeping that up.
I've promised myself a new running watch when I complete the programme - any reccomendations welcome. I currently have an old Garmin Forerunner 35 which has taken a bit of a battering over the years and seems to have lost it's GPS ability..
I'll be doing W1R1 tomorrow, it feels weird to be back at the start of a programme, but I have my short route all mapped out and am looking forward to it!
I wasn't very involved in the C25K forum when I was doing the programme - lurking from afar, but think I may need a tad more moral support for the 10K

Welcome to the Bridge to 10K forum. Your in the right place. You don't have to be running regular 10K's to hang out here. I personally run 5K and 7K a lot. I'm training back up to 10K again now myself. Check out the pinned posts and look out for ju-ju's magic plan. It's a great weekly plan to get to 10K. Another way is to do 3 x 5K runs per week, pick one of those runs as your long run and add 500 meters onto it each week. It's a nice steady way to get to 10K. Nothing at all to be nervous or anxious about. It is just running a bit longer than your already running now.
And post when ever you like here. I have a Forerunner 35 too. I love mine, it does everything I want from a running watch. The new Forerunner 45 is a nice upgrade if your watch is failing you. Happy Running and welcome again.
Hey welcome! I'm fairly new to the bridge2 10k. Currently doing the 60 magic plan which I hope to achieve this weekend.i love this forum, so useful, funny, inspiring. Loads of brilliant posts, I'm sure it will help motivate you!😆🏃♀️
