I am experiencing belly/abdomen pain of late while I have been steadily increasing my running time.
I did not follow the Bridge to 10K schedule but began increasing my run durations gradually - 5k --> 6k --> 7k --> 8.5k
The first time I attempted a 10K, I had to stop abrupty at 9.7k when I felt a sharp pain around my belly. These days I consistently run 8.5k twice/thrice a week but when ever I try inching a bit more towards the 10k milestone I've ended up stopping abruptly with belly pain. I must say I was successfully able to complete 10k a couple of times without any issues( at 6.1km/min pace)
1. I only run in the mornings
2. I have about 400ml of warm water and no food
3. Empty my bowels
4. Warm up for 5-7mins with a brisk walk and stretches before my run
I do not understand what I am doing wrong here. Obviously, I do not want to buildup an injury by being stupid
Please help !!!

Ooooooh. No medical expert here but it's ok to run that distance with no food or water in my opinion. If you need the water just carry it with you and have small sips if you need it. If you like it before then don't have so much or wait an hour until you run? I normally don't eat anything 90 mins before a run and if I drink it's small at not within 30 mins of running.
Obviously this is just how I work. I wouldn't want it to be anything medical.
