It is so interesting to see and hear about where community members are running. The UK is a beautiful and varied place.
We live on a limestone plateau in Wales at 800 ft up. If you stray off the edge of the plateau it is very hard work getting back up! This morning I planned to run on the top over smaller local lumps but I still managed to clock up an elevation gain of 92m. (They say it makes you stronger!) The other issue was avoiding tractors in the narrow lanes but I managed 6.3 km and achieved a couple of PRs on Strava.
So pleased!

Brilliant effort, avoiding tractors and still getting pbs. These hills really are good for your running, you will hopefully learn to love one day. Happy running
A really promising week for you. Well done. We need to reflect every now and then on our progress. 6.3k is a lovely way to look forward now to what the weeks ahead will bring. 👏👏👏👏👏
Wow! I can't wait to do the same thing, I was there last year, and I want to do it again!
I love that place, but I also don't like this business when there is transport!
I myself am engaged in agriculture and even recently bought a brand new tractor from the service heming-engineering.co.uk/tr... and I understand how big a problem transport can be when you run! Especially in such a beautiful place. I think it is unnecessary and unpleasant even...
but in any case, I am happy to be there sometimes and constantly go there whenever possible to spend my free time there with interest and benefit.
