Phew it’s blowy out there!!

Well it’s not raining so that’s something but it was certainly blowing!! I ran 10k in the drizzle on Wednesday and today’s 4k felt so much harder work against the wind. It was a lovely run though- dry, sunny but squinty, and I left it a bit later so no dodging school kids or parents driving 4 wheel tanks haphazardly at ridiculous speeds through the Park.

There were a few other runners about - all going in the opposite direction, which made me feel as though there might be some sort of one way system round the Park and I was the rebel ☹️. But everyone was smiley and friendly and I really enjoyed the run. No great speeds - no PBS but I came back feeling invigorated. Mind you I’ve done sod all since I got back bar shower, change into my Owl leggings and eat a huge slice of my homemade Apple pie for breakfast and a banana.

I had a really busy baking day yesterday, and made a dozen little coffee cakes, a dozen jam tarts, 2 quiches, a batch of cheese straws, a large Apple pie and 2 crumbles, a batch of Yeast Cakes and a big casserole dish of MeatFree Mince Chilli. I won’t be cooking for a couple of days now!!! So I think I deserve a rest day today.

How very productive! I’m like you after a run - shower and faff!! Not so productive. 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes I crack on and do stuff but I think I burnt myself out yesterday 🤣🤣. I have done some washing and pricked out and transplanted some seedlings in the greenhouse now. So not too lazy now

I’m not on a run day and haven’t any oomph today. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe tomorrow. . . . .
