I have been looking at Garmin watches for a while but have held off as I have a big Birthday coming up ! well on Thursday the big 50 is here and earlier in the month ordered my watch Forerunner 245 music! before ordering i looked for any discount codes and there was one for 20 percent off any Garmin purchase and I put the code in at checkout it was accepted. However on processing it didn't reduce the total and went through at full price. I emailed Garmin immediately and after having to chase for 2 weeks for an answer was told it was for map products only and not watches and they won't back down on this. I am obviously annoyed as there was no mention of this and it said any garmin purchase. Am I over reacting or am i right to be annoyed? The watch was 300 pounds so the discount should of been 60. Any thoughts?

As in you found a discount code online? I have no idea of Garmin nor their watches but I do know that these codes are sketchy anyways..
Can you return it?
Send it back. You can get it for £230 on wiggle. I think they might do a first purchase with them discount code but not sure. Or £235 on Amazon.

I think your dispute is with the site that offered the code stating it was for all products. I would send it back and follow Tasha99's advice.
i could but i then would not have a watch
Buy a Honor Magic watch 2 at less than half the price........👍
If you know someone with blue light card emergency/nhs/police etc garmin give a good discount think the 245 music is 240 ish x
I was looking for discount codes for Garmin too. Every one of the codes I found were generally for products that were not... Let's say mainstream. I'm not paying top dollar (pounds sterling) when 20% is being hacked off of other products. I'll make do with my phone and Fitbit (and my old Garmin)
Your beef is with the dodgy coupon website, not Garmin. The code is definitely just for maps.... as evidenced by the code itself. If you weren’t happy at the point of purchase why did you continue?
because it accepted the coupon and I thought it would come off at the end. if it had rejected it at point of entry I wouldn't of minded. Its garmins checkout that wasnt set up properly. to reject as a coupon. i emailed immediately and didn't get a response until i chased again and then again for an answer. As i say if it had rejected and said not valid i wouldn't have a problem.
