So my heart still belongs to C25k but I spend equal time here now as well (and sometimes having a peek into the marathon forum) πŸ˜‚

So here is a post of this mornings 10k run if anyone is interested haha πŸ˜‚

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I think anything above 5K to 10K should be hereπŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” But as u said our roots deep in C25K πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Your next goal 13K (Hopefully soon) will see it in the Marathon run forum... come on🀞🀞🀞

Yes, logical I know , but it's also nice to give encouragement on C25K 😁

I hang out here. As someone said last week, playing pooh sticks on the Bridge. I run 5K, 6K, 7K and 10K. Mainly 5K. So I play a lot of pooh sticks. :-)

But my heart is still with the C25k 😁

I had that dilemma for a long time... still do really... it’s relatively recently that most of my posts have been over here. For me this is even weirder as it was after I ran HM that here felt the natural place to be, rather than either C25K or Marathon & Race!

Nice run this morning... love the picture too.

Many thanks , I suppose if I ever get on to the other distances I'll have an even bigger dilemma πŸ˜‚

Interesting. As I'm now mostly running 5k-10k (who? me?!) I feel that this is a more appropriate forum for me to start a post. I reply to posts on here and on C25K though.

And yes, I've started taking the odd peek at the marathon forum too. That, though, still feels pretty scary to someone who's only been running 4 months and whose two longest runs are 10k and 12k respectively!

Yep about 4 months for me also πŸ™‚

But with 2 weeks on the I C 😐

Well, I posted on here by mistake this morning, but maybe my long runs should be on here anyway as I usually cover 10K (did I really just type that?!). For my shorter runs (2-4K) I’ll still post on the Couch to 5K forum and have a nose in there from time to time. Next stop 13K, perhaps I’ll post in the Marathon forum! Who knows πŸ˜‚

Yes that will be strange 😁

Why 13 ?

Halfway between 10K and 16K 😬

And 16km is 10 miles (approx), of course.

Similarly, my heart is still in C25K, possibly because my running came to an abrupt halt right at the end of it and have spent 3 weeks on the IC.

Yes I realise what 10 miles is πŸ˜‚

If I'm posting about my runs I always think that posting on the cto5k forum doesn't feel quite comfortable for me.. We're always encouraging those on the programme to not worry about pace or distance, so me going on about enjoying 10ks might be a bit daunting for those on week 1! That said, it does show what everyone can achieve!

I keep it to encouraging people doing cto5k and then keep all my ramblings for the lovely people on the bridge.

As for the marathon and race support forum, I'm peeking but that feels pretty daunting!

Feel like I'm behind everyone on issues like heart rate zones etc, but you know I need to keep it simple. I hope that won't be my undoing! Just trying to listen to what feels right at the moment

Yes, you’re right about where to post what. When I posted about my 10K on here, though - I couldn’t add the Weekly Virtual 5K as a topic and I wanted to support that. So I posted a short para in the Couch to 5K forum and added the topic there.

Yes , good point about c25k πŸ‘

Never thought of it that way πŸ€”

I think 5k runs on there , 10k on here , then, well πŸ€”

Let's see what happens,

Oh you don't need to think about he zones !

You know yourself and how to run πŸ‘πŸ˜

I went bridge to 10k this time. I’m not even contemplating marathon (other than a retro snickers πŸ˜‚)
