Unfortunately will not be running for the next two weeks. Not even a running related issue which is a frustration. Stubbed my toe 5 weeks ago and didn’t realise that it had actually fractured. Anyway this has now caused a problem with my cuboid bone and have been told to rest and repair!!! ☹️😥. However will keep reading all your posts to cheer me up☺️👍. Take care and enjoy your running🏃‍♀️.

Do we need a bigger Injury Couch? 😉

Let’s hope not! This is going to be so hard, don’t know how I’ll manage 2 weeks without running. Think cycling and swimming will be my saving grace.👍

Sorry to hear your plight, sometimes a good rest is what we need, time to pamper your muscles. New stretch routine perhaps. Squats watching tv, just because we can’t run, doesn’t have to mean we can’t still be in the running 🏃‍♀️ get well soon

Thanks Blueboy, hopefully my intention. Completed a 14k cycle this morning with my wee sis. Feels ok so far.👍

Hopefully with the rest from running you'll be fine . I see you like cycling and swimming so the time will fly by. Good luck 😊🤞

Oh what a nuisance! Hopefully your cycling and swimming will see you through the next couple of weeks until you’re fit to run again,

Thanks Jools, hope I can last 2 weeks!!!

Whatever you do don't set back your recovery by going back too soon. You will be so annoyed with yourself if you have to start a new 2-week rest period, or longer !

It's frustrating but at least it is a minor injury. 2 weeks is better than 2 months... let it heal.

💗

It is difficult but will follow advice and be careful re other exercise too. Thank you.😄

Ooooooh you were brave!! Here's hoping for a comfortable recovery and you can get back on the horse again!

Ooh that’s such a shame HG - but you know it’s the only thing you can do! If you’re able to swim or cycle instead that’ll give you a different view from the IC! Heal soon!

Back in 2012 I was in Northern Scotland on holiday. I bent back a toe on my left foot walking (and tripping) on thick carpet in the hotel at John O'Groats and stubbed the little toe on my right foot on a rock at a waterfall. You have my sympathies.
