Ran my first 10k on Saturday with my sister Trisha aka Funghi

We did the c25k together graduating just b4 lockdown we have Worked hard to run in this fabulous event and run 10k and on Saturday we did it

So chuffed for us and also our 3 friends that joined us

However without doing the c25k programme we would never have done it so once again thanks

Very happy runners, onwards to more 10k events πŸ€—

Oh I'm a member of Kew and don't live far away. I might look that up for next year. Can't think of anywhere livelier to run. Your first 10k at Kew is amazing!

Yes , so lucky it’s so beautiful but didn’t fully appreciate as zoned into the run

And the gardens are closed to the public til 11am on race day(s) - race entry gets you and your spectator into Kew for the day for free (would have cost Mr9389 and I Β£27.50)

Huge congratulations to both yourself and your sister. That's amazing progress. I have given you a shiny new graduate 10 badge, in lieu of the delayed bling!!!

I ran it on Sunday. I thought it was brilliant, such a wonderful venue and so carefully and thoughtfully organised too. I entered ages ago for the Saturday, but swapped to Sunday when they extended it to the two days.

I can't see a picture- you can't add a photo to a reply or comment, but as this is your own lost you can edit the original post and add a photo at the top if you want.

I will be writing a race report later today or tomorrow over on the Marathon and Race Support Forum and will out some photos up there
