It's even worse when you normally wear glasses and you're swimming. I missed recording a swim yesterday because I couldn't see my watch properly through my goggles. I was unreasonably annoyed - I kept having to remind myself that it didn't matter, I had actually still done the swim!

Do you have prescription goggles? My eyesight is terrible (-9 ish in both eyes) and although I don’t swim often, they are one of the best things I have ever bought. They aren’t actually made to my exact prescription with astigmatism correction and everything else because they would have been insanely expensive, they just correct for the shortsightedness and work brilliantly. They can be bought online if you know what your prescription is.

What’s worse is when your out for a run and have to pause your Garmin at traffic lights or to talk to someone mid run and 1.5K later you realise that you had forgotten to press resume. So you do 6.5K just so as you can record 5K on the Garmin.😂🤣

There's a pin badge you can get that says something along the lines of 'I'm a runner, if I pass out please pause my Garmin!'
