Well, after several days of not putting in any mileage into RunLEJOG (my real self discovering the joys of the C5k+ podcast running) I have put the data ๐งฎ in this morning and jumped forward to 33 miles! ๐
Now for those runners who have already received their 100m postcard, or even the 50m postcard, this may not seem very much.
However, for this super-slow-runner ๐ข ๐ the key takeaway is this: I think I will make it too my stretch target of 333.8 and thus Iโll reach my hometown!
We have more than 10 months ๐ to go which - if I keep my current running schedule - should get me there with some time to spare! So once I will arrive, Iโm sure my LeJog self will drink tea โ๏ธ with my real self, and we probably both will go for a doubley-fun, doubley-slow run! ๐ข๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐ข

Well done CBDB thatโs great progress!๐ I hope youโre enjoying the challenge?๐
I went out for a run this morning towards LEJOG4๐โโ๏ธ My Garmin watch ran out of battery towards the end, but fortunately I was able to upload it to Strava via my computer when I got back. ๐
I probably ran about 10.5km but Garmin only registered 9.68km before it conked out๐ Lesson learnt!
At least my 9.56km run was enough to get me to under 800 miles remaining (799.59 miles to be precise!) so Iโm pleased with that๐
Good luck with completing your personal challenge!๐
Wow ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ฒ Brilliant! Yes, as brilliant as all these gadgets are, they tether us to the next charging plug! I used to have quite a sophisticated phone in the pre-smartphone era, and it lasted 6 -8 weeks, before needing to recharge! Unbelievable for today!
๐คฉ๐คฉ indeed! Iโm already thinking of persuading LEJOG to let us tortoises ๐ข continue to the end, even after the year has finished! So Iโll be looking for what they do with LEJOG1!
Glad you posted this. And at the risk of sounding very stupid indeed. How do I upload the evidence please.
It has added my distance each time I have logged it but I cannot work out how to upload evidence. I do have my walks a d runs logged on strava but how do I get it from phone to the map please.
That's great - you're well on track to meet your own personal challenge and that's all that matters. We are all going at a different pace and all have our own individual goals and circumstances - that's the good thing about this challenge we can all use it in the best way for us.
