It's been a while since I posted, but have been regularly consolidating after graduating C25k in July. Yesterday I decided to run 4k to deliver a birthday card to a friend in Battersea. I got there, had a 10 min chat, then thought why walk home when I can run back along the towpath? So that's what I did - and you know what - amazingly I felt fine! That was 7.5k in total (admittedly with a break) when I've only ever done just over 5k. The last 10 mins I was grinning to myself, in the pouring rain, and feeling great.
BUT, this morning, the top of my right foot is really painful and my left hip is playing up, so I'm walking like a robot! Feels like my body needs constant TLC. Maybe 3 rest days will do it, then I want to start JuJu's Magic Plan this weekend and hopefully find some virtual running buddies to help spur me on.
