As the title said it’s been a little while since I last posted.

Had a week off recently after pushing myself to a 10k when my left knee was really only interested in running 9.5.

Ran again last Thursday thought I’d keep it short and listen to my knee. It felt good and encouraged me on and I completed a 5k time to submit to not park run.

I rested again over the weekend and we have come away on a camping trip in the new forest. Had two runs this week a 5 on Monday and a 6 this morning. Building up the distance gradually over the next few weeks. It’ll be a short run on Saturday 3-4k.

The New Forest is a beautiful area to run in although the roads are a hit tight, but I’m enjoying it especially building up the strength in my knee again

This sounds really positive! Great that you have been consistent and the smaller distances are making you comfier as you build again. Seems like you are doing the right thing 😊

Fabulous! Enjoy exploring a new area to run in. I constantly think I must do the same but haven’t had the chance. So I love reading about others running in forests, on beaches, on islands... and then I can dream... and then I can plan. Well done and wishing you more lovely new runs.
