I actually graduated !!!

I graduated c25k last night and really really want to carry on and push that little bit further. Now im not saying i want to run marathons but i would like to try and acheive firstly an actual 5k run, at the end of wk9 i was getting about 4k in 30 minutes but whilst my pace is slow, i did feel like i could carry on that little bit longer so i ran through the cool down. I am looking for something similar to the c25k where prompts are there etc. Any recommendations???

Huge congratulations on your amazing achievement. Well done. 👏👏🌟🌟🏅🏅

For me I'm doing the bridge with adaptations and going at it slowly. Good luck with your future running.

There is a stick post about life after C25k, to the right of your screen

Stepping Stones podcasts would be my go-to. C25k+ 3 podcasts to keep you busy 👍🙂

Huge congratulations and very well done on your C25K graduation. It is really weird at first running without the C25K plan. But it is also great. Get used to trying different routes, run with music, run without music. But most importantly get used to running 5K x 3 times per week for about 6 weeks at least before moving on to more distances. Keep posting here, this is a Bridge to 10K, i hang around a lot around the 5K end of the Bridge. Sometimes I go to the middle of the bridge and sometimes I cross it. But for me 5K is my favourite distance. Not a lot of people here know this, but I'm a big fan of parkrun. :-) You can look forward to that when it returns. In the meantime you are welcome to join a bunch of us here every Saturday morning. We run our own Virtual 5K parkruns, and report back here to the same thread every Saturday. Some run, some jog, some run and walk etc. Join us on Saturday.

Congratulations on your graduation. I graduated at 4k too. My advice is to consolidate running for 30 Minutes for 3 weeks before trying to go faster or further. It really helps your body prepare for what is ahead. If you haven’t been sent a link already, look in the c25k pinned posts for the excellent advice following graduation.

Then there is a plan on this forum which can take you safely either to 60 minutes or 10k .

Enjoy trying new routes and areas in the meantime. 👌
