Firstly the photo, Willow looked out the bedroom window last night and came charging into the lounge whispering “quick come and look quick sshh”

Not great photo as dark but I’ve never seen them in real life before so wanted to share

Then we couldn’t sleep and I finally put my book down at 5am so we weren’t looking forward to this run

4.83 easy run 🏃‍♀️

Blue sky white clouds green trees 🌳 and a few flowers 💐 still blooming.

Easy run it was we talked we sang, different songs because we had different music,

I don’t usually put splits but for an easy run i like these

10.15

9.07

8.32

9.00

8.38

Willow went very steady and his knee held up well and once I’d finished we walked the last bit together holding hands and grinning

I don’t know what it is about these plans but we moan that we aren’t improving and then look at the stats and it’s our fastest 4.83k so far

The badgers, mum dad and child how wonderful is that? eating the fallen plums

Beautiful picture, and well done for your run, specially with so little sleep!

Fabulous pic, and so lovely to hear that you’re back out running together. Glad his knee is on the mend.

Thank you, he was cautious and we have both decided to keep it slow for now as the distances per week are increasing on this plan

We couldn’t get over the badgers

3 Badgers, you don't often see them, good run for you today, well done for your fastest 4.83km so far. 😊 🏃🏾

Thanks Al, it didn’t feel fast we are aiming for steady but over the weeks it’s creeping up

💕 Love the photo of your neighbours! Really special. 😊 Glad to hear Willow’s taking it gently and his knee is appreciating it too! 👍🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️🦋

Great photo - amazing to see badgers out of your window too. Great run for you both - good that the feet, toes and ankles are all behaving. Had to smile at the image of you at the finish - how very lovely!!!!

How fantastic to see badgers 🦡. Brilliant running too. I struggle with sleeping. I find listening to a podcast works. I am quite used to sleeping wearing headphones 🎧 😂

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to MoliJ

I don’t often have trouble sleeping was just drifting off hen Willow dreamt he was being chased by a dragon and leapt across the bed shouting, took a while to settle after that

MoliJ profile image
MoliJGraduate10 in reply to SueAppleRun

😂😂😂😂😂😂. Glad it’s not a long term problem x

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to MoliJ

Once he dived under a he bed because someone was shooting him, he does have funny dreams, he took the duvet with him too, one minute there i was fast asleep and warm and the next i was all bare and cold and awake and he was on the floor wrapped in the duvet

Oh wow - what a treat to see these in your garden! Glad you’re out running together again and that you’re moving faster than you thought!

SueAppleRun profile image
SueAppleRunGraduate1060minGraduate in reply to Oldgirlruns

It’s all a bit of fun and the badgers were amazing

When I want to speed up a bit i push from my feet, i used to pump my arms but now my feet have spring in them and it’s all down to your strength and flex that i still do daily

How lovely to catch Sight of those badgers 🦡🦡 🦡 it sounds like a great run together today. I love it when a run goes well and you realise you have a big grin on your face.

Thanks Dexy we both really enjoyed it and remembered you say speed or distance not both at the same time

Have seen many badgers here recently, but all by the roadside sadly, haven’t seen a live one for a long time up close. Having a family of them so close is a real treat.

Great easy running there. I find the same with the plans... the watch says I’m getting quicker but it’s sometimes difficult to feel it during the event.

Yes it feels like we aren’t progressing but ate stats are getting a bit quicker

What am amazing photo and what a privilege to see them. I wouldn't care what my run was like after seeing those beauties 😊 But not only Badgers but a great run as well, despite the lack of sleep. How you get a better night's sleep tonight x

You two always seem to have fun together - lovely to hear about your adventures.

Not sure what splits are but you're pleased with them so you must have done well. I have trouble sleeping and I'm sure had I woken after a bad night's sleep (as I did yesterday) I would certainly say 'no run for me today, I'm too tired' (although I did go out later in the day - which is a first) so well done to you on all counts!

I don’t know why but i’m full of energy, run was followed by a bath then weekly shop then grandchildren helping me buy and wrap presents for lucky dip at thursdays staff meeting, I bought them alcohol and they are wrapping nicely and eating pizza

Ha ha ha, well we’ve been together for seven and a half years now and still wondering if the newness will ever wear off

What a terrific picture! It's a really good shot. You are doing so well...I mean those splits and the fastest almost 5k 🥇 but the best bit by far is this;

...we walked the last bit together holding hands and grinning...

I mean, that is the winner right there!

I shank you Fabulous, i keep looking back at other runs on the same plan and expect to see faster times, it’s always a surprise that we are a little faster which means the plan is working we are a little stronger, cadence drills on Thursday

Well done! Sounds like you had a great run... but

I need to tell you ... how lucky you are to see those badgers! 🦡 🦡 🦡 😍

I would love to see them in real life... closest I’ve come to anything like that is I had a fox sleep in my garden... every morning I would wake up and it was there 🦊😍
