I’ve been hanging around on the C25k group since starting that program in May, graduating in early July.
Since then I’ve been bumbling around at 30mins/5k with little direction, pushed 6k last week (41 mins)
Decided to sign up to garmin coach for the 5-10k plan (prefer the runs synced to the watch rather than podcasts as I want my ears free as it’s getting darker in the mornings.
Sure I’ll be popping in from time to time with daft questions and wanting advice....
Can believe as a lifelong non-runner I’m even considering 10k 😂

Welcome. If your running 30 minute 5K's already your going to have no trouble. There is a magic plan starting on the 4th of September with Ju-Ju, see link to it in the pinned posts. It is an 8 week plan to get to 10K which loads will be doing. I got to 10K by running 5K x 3 times per week. Then I picked 1 of these runs as a long run and each week I added 500 meters onto it. Enjoy. 10K is a great distance. I love 5K and I am a big fan of parkrun when it was on every Saturday morning. 10K really helped me improve my 5K times and there is always a fantastic buzz taking part in 10K road races. It's also a great Calorie burner.
Wish I was doing 30 min 5k! I meant that as 30min or 5k. My 5k time is between 33 and 38 minutes depending on route. I live in a hilly area, so some routes are slower than others due to climbs on some of them.
I’ll look at Ju-ju’s plan as well to see which I prefer.
