I've been getting so annoyed with myself because I've never been able to get my pace right. Start off too fast, or it's too erratic, or I struggle to know how to slow down when I'm finding it hard.
Today I was determined to start off nice and slow, and build up. In the end, I think I could have upped the pace a bit more in the last leg, but I was too worried about running out of juice π
It definitely helped, and made it a really comfortable 5k so will keep at it for the next one.

That's fantastic, well done! I've only managed neg splits once, so difficult to remember to pace yourself properly!! Hope you're more successful than me next time π€πββοΈπ
This sounds really promising and the fact that you had a bit left is a really good sign too! Well done, it's all practice and experimentation!
Well done! πππ I know just how you feel! I did this on Thursday on a 4K run. Iβve tried before, but tend to run too fast for the first km, then struggle to keep up pace for the rest of the run. It all worked out on Thursday and I was so happy I looked at the splits on Strava for about 2 hours π It made the run a lot easier for sure.
