I was planning on doing a 30 minutes total beginners fartlek run today and was excited! The weather has been iffy all day but the technology said to me there was a break in the weather... so I went.
My goodness!! The heavens opened and the rain which came.. I hadn’t even been running 5 minutes! Luckily my phone was around y waste but my earphones are not not working they got so soaked!! There was nowhere to shelter as I was by the water and there weren’t too many trees/buildings... eeek. I left Strava in and it gives me a grand total of 1.5km for today! But I must say there were some sprints in there especially as I found my way home.
Let’s hope tomorrow is better so I can go properly!!

Yikes! I’ve yet to be caught in the rain despite living in Scotland. Come to think of it, maybe that’s telling me to you my runs... I’ve been searching the forums recently to get advice on running in the rain because I know I can’t dodge it forever and I’m amazed by the number of folk on here who absolutely love it. Doesn’t sound as though you were keen but early days yet 😄
