Lakerun.

I posted recently that some likeminded friends had started an impromptu Lakerun nearby as a substitute for Parkrun.

I was worried about respect for distancing but no need. There were only 3 of us and one was a walker!

So the two of us set off at a gentle trot about 150 steps per minute. We nattered for the full 5 km. Now I know after all this time what a conversational pace is.

Sounds like a great run even if there was only 3 and you had a nice chat along the way 😊😊

Sounds lovely! These precious opportunities can't be missed, they are good for the soul.

So... chatting pace isn't the same as swearing out loud pace then? You learn something new every day 😁 Here's wishing you many more chatty runs 😊

It’s very different from a swearing out loud pace! I did one of those this morning: 2.5km up a steep hill. But running back down was lovely. 😎
