August running going well 😀

Arrggg - Just spent ages writing a post then deleted it by mistake!!!!!

Summary: 3 runs again this week, two consecutive due to unexpected visitor (daughter 😊). Yesterday’s run was hilly, up to the Beacon - phew! So will top 100km for August but not quite reach May’s total of 120km! Incorporating strength exercises during runs by stopping and using benches, railings etc 👍 Rest of week clocking up mountain miles in Snowdonia 🥾 hope weather improves so we get some views!

Thank you, weekend looking ok 😊 Our 10th Anniversary today - we and our guests walked up Snowdon on our wedding day 😊❤️🥾

Well done. That is impressive, especially with the addition of strength exercises. I'd be stopping for a rest on the bench. Hope you enjoy Snowdonia👏👏

Well strangely I seem to get a bit of a spurt between each stop, despite heavy breathing doing 3x10 push ups etc!

I’m sure there’s some logic in that, I just don’t know what it is 😉

I just have a vague memory of reading that if you’re doing strength training and a run on the same day, you should do the strength stuff first...

Perhaps I should do the strength exercises as part of my warm up walk 🤔 I may do a separate post to see what others think.....
