Different apps - different results

I decided to check the various running apps on my phone and my watch to see the differences.

I set a 5k on Nike Run and started them together on an easy run.

Nike says 5k at 8min/per km.

Google fit says 5.5k at 7.3min/km.

Mi Fit (linked to my Amazfit Bip) says 4 8km at almost 9min/km.

Who to believe?

I find my Garmin is pretty accurate (based on having done several PR courses) and I stick with that.

Or if you don’t fancy a watch, maybe test each of your apps over a known 1k (for example) route, see which is most accurate and stick with that one. At least you’ll be comparing like with like in the future. 😀
