A lightning run ⛈

It’s been torrential here all day. I don’t mind running in the rain, but I do draw the line at thunderstorms 🥺. It is so sticky and humid, so running in the drizzle was quite nice.

I have just squeezed in my W7 20 min Magic Plan run between the heavy rain and before the storms start. I think it was probably the thought of the impending lightning that helped me run my fastest 1k in 6:31 😂!

Next run is a repeat of the 55 minute one.

😉 I hope to find more blackberries 😋.

Wow!!! That little Mexican mouse is back🐭. That is quick!! We'll done running. It's sticky here too but no drizzle to cool us. You're doing well on the plan!! Keep it up👋👋

Well done DD! Haven’t ventured out yet so WK 3 run 2 (5k) looms. It’s so muggy that even yoga is beyond my energy levels! Pathetic really. Congrats on your PB!

Thank you Timotea. Definitely muggy here too. Hoping the storms bring some fresher air. Enjoy your yoga and or running when they happen 😊 🧘🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏼‍♀️.

Glad you made it out between storms, although I'm slightly envious of the storms, we've had none where I'm living and do like a good storm. Brilliant time for your 1k well done you must be so pleased with that.

I love a good storm too! Nice to be on the inside though😉.

Awesome speed! Well done you. So glad that you managed to squeeze it in. Going great guns and so satisfying now that you are in the warm 😊

Thank you GTFC. I saw a weather window and went for it! Still got wet but don’t care! 😊

Ha ha.. I know the feeling.. run faster to avoid anything unpleasant.... My motivation this morning was the thought of a wild strangler.... ( Reading a very scary book, right now)!

Huge well done you and glad the lightning missed you!

Ha ha indeed Oldfloss!

Always good to hear from you 😊.

Don’t go reading that book too late at night now...... 🥺

Wow, that was a good pace! It's nice to beat a few PRs now and then! Terrible weather here but I missed the rain on my early morning short run of the week. Am contemplating putting the heating on as everything feels so damp!

Ah, I can recognise that sentiment from living Scotland 20 years ago! Hope you’re feeling cosy now ☺️.

That really is fast, mind you with an impending storm I might have kept up with you for a while if not the whole 1k

Well done on PB. I’m off out in the morning for my 20 minute run of W6. Although I have been running for an extra 5 minutes for each run. I nearly made 60 minutes on Wednesday but will try to do the 60 minutes next Tuesday or Wednesday morning when ever the grandchildren go home !!! Can’t get out when they’re here. I’m hoping to have a slightly quicker run in the morning but I doubt very much that I’ll reach your speed 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️👏👏👏😛😛😛
