LEJOG04 run1

I ran my normal Monday 5k this morning in lovely drizzle so much better than recent weather! I usually run around 24k a week which is about 15 miles so with a couple of walks I’m hoping to achieve around 20miles a week with good luck and a fair wind! I have my map up on the wall to track my journey. I am also going to try and find 2 photos one when I was 4 on holiday at Lands End and one when I was 5 at John O’ Groats - I think it may take me longer to find the photos than do the challenge! I’ve set off on the journey now good luck to all those starting to.

Good luck for your Lejog 4 walk/run to John o Groats, at running, walking 20 miles a week you should reach JOG in less than a year.

Fabulous! Also started today! Great fun. And yes, from a cycling vacation a decade ago, I remember the place exactly from where we started this morning! It’s nice to at least be virtually there!

Thank you CBDB, memories of very happy times. Have a great run looking forward to completing the challenge alongside you too.

20 miles a week will be a good pace. I have never actually been to Lands End or John O’Groats but virtually is fine.

Thank you yes I thought the mileage is a good one. I remember one being very wind and one being sunny! Virtual is fine by me now....although?

Well done, a great start. I must see if I can find any photos too, I used to live up near JOG , but as is typical, you don’t tend to take photos of your local area, but surely I must have one somewhere!!
