It is updating on the connect app, but not everything and not to Strava. I guess the sheer volume of data to upload to Strava (not from me ) will mean this could take some time. Nice to have some info back though
That's good. I guess after such a big "outage" or whatever it was, things will take a while to get back to normal. The actual exercise is the important bit, but I do like proof that I have done it!
The app is still saying they’re down for maintenance... and my syncs were slower than my walk back to the car after my HM, but it gets there in the end.
Good to know! My Garmin watch died completely yesterday so will not be able to synch anything....😢. A new one is arriving this morning but if this Garmin performance continues might switch to apple.
I’ve only used them since last May... first time I’ve even seen a maintenance message. Strava warning that it could take a week for all activities to reach them, but I think they’re being a little pessimistic... all mine are up, and this mornings one then went straight through.
Run this morning uploaded but the elevation gain is missing on garmin . Although when it transfered over to strava the elevation gain is on there , strange 🤔
It's so lovely to have all the data back. If it wasnt absolutely pouring out I might have gone for a long celebratory run, may restrict myself to my normal 7k loop. Happy running everyone 🤗
Very wet and chilly enough in the wind that 7k was long enough so I didn't get frost bite. I love having my stats back but will be taking paper record of the big ones like 2020 total and post graduate total as about to reach milestone Km's, so excited.
I love that. Hubby's has been going down recently as hes been doing long hilly runs but his too was up this morning, then he went for a short hilly run and it dropped down again 🤣🤣 it's still an amazingingly high vo2max value as hes super fit so he's more confused than anything
I get that... and it says the longer you wear the watch the more accurate it is 🤷♂️ I’m still only in the “good” bit, I imagine when in the next stage I have to go back to school and when in superior I’ll be a twinkle in daddy’s eye again!
My syncs were slow and said they had updated but might take a while to show.
But worried when it showed my steps streak as 204 days. 24th and 25th from my vivofit were missing!
But all is well, it shows 207 days now that I have uploaded this morning's run and walks.
I wasn't too worried about anything else because I could get my walk distances for those two days from Geoff and enter them manually on Strava if necessary.
