Two new things today, not only did I run in rain π§ for the first time I also ran my longest run of 9.86km! I sort of enjoyed it π. I heard a rumour that there is such a thing as a 60 minute badge....or is it just an urban myth? π€ͺ

Congratulations on your longest run - that's a great distance! ππ You so nearly hit the Magic 10k - I am curious as to why you didn't run that extra 140m?
You're right about the 60 minute badge - definately yours for the taking now and here's to ticking off 10k VERY soon! π
Thank you! My route ended on a very steep hill and Iβd no idea Iβd run that distance until I was home π‘. Iβm going to do the same route soon and make sure I find that 140m on the flat π
Fantastic run, well done. Not far off the 10k too. I am on the injury bench for a while. Keeping fit cycling most days. Hoping to get my 60 minute badge soon. I should have got it Thursday.
π€¦ββοΈ poor you, what have you done?
My right ankle has started clicking and aching after a run. Google has diagnosed tendonitis. I think itβs only mild and I am hoping itβs not going to get any worse. Not taking any chances. Going to rest for at least a week and do daily strengthening exercises. Riding the bike to keep my fitness up. Will assess the situation in a week.
Well done. To get your badge I think you have to post on this thread.
Congratulations on your longest run so far and first time running in the rain .
You're not far off that 10k.
If you click on the link below and leave a message you can claim your 60minute badge.
Well done you ππππ
Wow well done!
Thanks Forest. Did I read one of your posts about a Garmin watch? Iβm thinking of treating myself and not sure which one to go for.
Garmin are down at the moment so canβt access the data. I put strava on manually this morning. No problem with the watch itβs still recording. Iβve got a forerunner 35 which has everything I need at the moment and you can get it for under Β£100
Thatβs sounds good, I donβt want to spend a fortune! Are you able to see your distance on the watch while actually running?
Yes and time elapsed and pace. On the one screen. you can set alerts too. Mine alerts me every Km and every 15 minutes of a run. It just vibrates on your wrist and the face displays the data for a few seconds then goes back to overall distance, time and pace. You can set heart rate alerts too if your doing the heart rate training
Fantastic, run well done to you on you 60mins and so close to the 10k π€©
Brilliant way to get to 60 minutes - accidentally. π€£π€£ Fantastic run - you'll be sporting that 10k badge on your next long run I'm sure!!!
Fantastic run BeetrootFace and a great time too! So nearly at that 10k as well. You are doing brilliantly so I don't think that 10k badge is too far off either ππββοΈπ.
I love it. Accidental nearly 10k! Made me laugh because my one and only 60 min run was done 'by accident'. Proves you're enjoying your running!
Congratulations that was a cracking pace for your 1st 60 minutes run. Hope you enjoy your shiny new badge but I guess it will soon be replaced by a 10k one. Happy running π€
Excellent, well done π₯³
Well done. Sounds like a good run.
