Ciao!

Today I struggled to leave the bed my lower back pain doesn’t leave me rest in peace.. keep doing stretching and mckenzie stretch as suggested but maybe should I add something for reinforce the core? Any tip?

My run today was 30 minutes after my Monday long run run (38 min for 5k!) but I was happy with the pace and manage to do 4.2k in 30 min.. I think is not bad! Dead at the end but no bad!

Prior to running I struggled with lower back pain and was referred to our nhs spine clinic within the physio dept. We were shown exercises that build up the muscles that support the back. I then joined Pilates classes which builds up core muscles and have continued ever since. No problems with my back anymore. The Pilates is great for my running rest days.
