I decided today to run the route to parkrun. I've ran it once before so I new exactly what route I was going.
Stopped my watch at 10k and I got a 10k pb of 1hr 33 seconds. Not bad as when I ran it the first time I was 1 hr 6 minutes.
The weather was a mix of being dull , some rain then the sun came and went . But still very warm .ππββοΈ
So a good start to the week . Happy running allππ

AlMorr Ambassador Graduate10 4 years ago Good run for you Buddy34, that run was TO Drumpellier in a time of 1 hour 33 seconds, if you had taken the car to Drumpellier, the car park is now open I am sure you would have got a sub 60 minute 10K running round the paths there, anyway, a great run for you, well done.

I have decided to run 10 miles, a little over 16K this Wednesday, it might be raining β but I have discovered running in rain is OK compared to cycling in the rain β which is not so pleasant.

Good luck for Wednesday AlMorr. Running in rain is great and once you're wet, you're wet. ππ

I can honestly say the only time I tried to speed up was the last km. The rest of the run actually felt quite good π

What a fantastic run and, no doubt, with dreaded hills? You are so close to going sub 60. Well done π₯³ππββοΈ

Thanks Sandie . 1 or 2 hilly bits and a few inclines but felt so much better when I ran the route the first time round π
