3rd week consolidation

I have been running 30 minutes 3x a week for 2 weeks. Today first run of 3 rd week, I changed the route and I don’t know if that was it but I felt fresh at the end of 30 minutes and could see I was nearly at 4K so ran another 5 minutes to get there, even through I said to myself I would stick to 30 minutes for 3 weeks before I changed anything.

I find Monday and Friday runs much easier than Wednesday, not sure why. It will be interesting to see if it is the same this week too.

Great effort with all these consolidation runs. A change of route is amazing for covering new distances, well done. Happy running 🤗

I completed 3 consolidation runs but still not achieved 4km in 30 min. I have done 2 more now and am closing in on the 4k/30 min. mark. Should I persist in this objective or start running for a longer time with the objective of first completing 5km? I seem to have plenty of endurance but lacking in pace. Plodding along for 30 + minutes is probably not the way to improve speed?
