Hello everyone!

I am on my last week of C25K and I don’t know this week feel tired and not motivated ... I did my first 30 min with 4.13 km my pace is really slow and get frustrated with myself .. just want to give up! I hope I am not the only one feeling like this as at the end I enjoy the run ..

Hello SpongePot, don't worry sometimes we all can feel a bit like that. What i find helps is a new music playlist and some new running routes to change things up a little. Don't worry about your pace its absolutely fine , there is no too slow.

Keep remembering that feeling of completing a run , there is nothing like it. Good luck with the rest of wk9😊😊

Chin up SpongePot, look how far you’ve come and what you’ve achieved....Graduation Day is now in sight.....🏆👀some weeks we all feel bit lacking in energy....maybe give yourself a few extra rest days and go out there feeling refreshed....Good Luck 👍

Hey you are doing great, almost at graduation. What's the rush to finish each km in a faster time, it just means the happy run stops early. If you look at speeds of people on any forum you'll find there is a vast range that we call normal, and we all want to be normal . Happy running 🤗

Thank you for all the lovely words I think because I almost there I am afraid to get lost - as I like to always have a plan in advance. Any one can suggest a watch for tracking km and time ?

That’s not “really slow”. Each run is an achievement !

Every time you get out and for 4K it’s amazing! Just remember where you came from? Remember that runner in week 1? How hard it was to start?

You can do this! Pace comes with time. You are doing great!

Please dont even look at your pace right now. The aim of the programme is to get you running for 30 minutes, and there is plenty of time after that to think about future goals. When you are not feeling motivated is definitely the best time to continue running as you are establishing that routine. Keep at it you are doing great.

When you started this was your aim to cover a certain distance in 30 minutes? or just be able to run for 30 minutes ?

So now you can run for 30 minutes but you're disappointed?!!!!

Getting focused on speed will suck the joy out of this.

No comparisons, just run 🤩

I started with the aim to do 5k in 30 min I am quite competitive with my self and usually zero patience but running is helping me and I know I get really far from zero ability to run .. it is just one of that weeks

C25K is a catchy name but a bit misleading. The goal is 30 minutes running which you are achieving. Many people are not running 5K at graduation so don't worry about it. At your pace your set for a 36 minute 5K (in due course!)

Your doing fine.

I too felt a bit deflated about W9. Start thinking about that present you are going to give yourself for graduating. And take a look at the monthly graduation posts and get planning the next bit of your running journey.

I bought to myself a Garmin forerunner 45

Cool. Good luck for your last few runs, if you've not finished already.

Not what you're looking for?
