Feeling heavy and meh

After leaving the house feeling pretty motivated, I ran for a few mins before needing to stop. Then the same again. 😔 then I saw the time and needed to get home anyway.

The “keep going” voices weren’t loud enough today apparently – I just felt heavy and meh (especially combining hills which are hard to avoid near me)

I think dehydration is probably the key here but missing having the mojo each time like I used to! 😩

Will try again tomorrow..

some runs are like that, the best thing is to learn from it, park it and move on to the next one. Are you tired? Can you slow down to maintain your energy levels? Well done for carrying on.

Learning from it and moving on sounds like a very good idea! I’m very tired atm as in the process of moving so lots to sort out. Maybe it’s getting to me run-wise!

Oh dear, but the main thing is you went out and tried. Hills do get easier as you get used to them. Try short runs doing a little bit more of the hill each time until you are happy - to next lamp post, tree etc. Then every run is progress. Happy running 🤗
