Hi everyone, just went on another 30 min run, I just couldn’t do it, I got to 14mins and I just threw in the towel. There was some neg factors, new route, heat, I was with a much slower runner, so I had to double back Afew times so they new what way I was going. But my mind set was just not on point, so I went back to an old route and power walked it. Going for run tomorrow and gonna smash it! But does anyone else get days like this

Everyone have their off days from running, I set out to run a 10K back in early January and at between 3 and 4K I new it just wasn't on to run my 5th 10K, so I struggled to get to 5K and walked home, I put it down to eating too much over the Christmas and New Year's holiday period when I overindulged eating too much chocolate and Mince Pies
Take a extra day off running and try running that 30 minutes run the next day.
Well done for going out, heat and supporting other runners is always hard. Treat today as a learning run - you've learnt to take this run for what it is, a support run rather than a run for you. Good luck tomorrow and happy running 🤗
