The puddles have shrunk

On Thursday I went out in the rain on an exploratory run to seek out how I am going to extend the runs going forward as I’d pretty much exhausted my current 11k run. It was a lovely run and a great to join up two canals and then a run through the woods. Today the weather was perfect for a run and the puddles that were so huge to navigate along the canal on Thursday had shrunk to almost nothing. I set off this morning following the 7k route and where I turned for home on Thursday I joined my existing run to complete my 11k with a view to future runs sorted up to 13k - that’s me sorted for the next few weeks. Don’t you just love sourcing new runs for the future. 🏃🏻‍♀️😁👍

Brilliant effort, about to post a out my new route. I love new routes, the thought of running loops to make longer distances is very off-putting. Happy running 🤗

Oh yes I agree Over62! I find it gives me added impulsion, although at the moment I’m sticking with 2 running routes so my dog can come along off the lead. The joy I have running with her outweighs the “boredom” of my very familiar surroundings. 😀
