Well the last post was just after I snapped a cruciate ligament so running was out the window. That was around Feb. Since then Ive been exercising under the instructions of a sports physio (recommended by my doc) . Started with squats, lunges etc, then jumping up and down, then box jumps, moving on to weighted squats, jumping forward and back and side to side. Then freedom-cycling! All that took me up to last week. Ive lost a stone so at a healthy weight. Working flat out in the garde building. Now I'm allowed to tentatively start running ie 30s walk 30s run repeated. Ive been out twice and done 30 min sessions and it feels great. Increased the run to 45 sec and walk at 30sec. Both physio and consultant are in agreement. No issues with the knee giving way or locking up so I probably wont need a cruciate reconstruction. Apparently there are all blacks playi.g without. C . ligaments.

Ill keep you posted.

Cheers
